Online Maths Tuition

Welcome to LB Maths Tuition. Led by Luke, an experienced maths teacher, our growing team of university tutors works together to provide supportive, engaging online tuition for students aged 11–19.

We offer a range of services to suit different needs and budgets — from one‑to‑one sessions with Luke, to tuition with our university tutors, small‑group classes, and structured mock exams. Whatever stage a student is at, we’re here to help them build confidence, strengthen their skills, and explore mathematics more deeply.

Key Stage 3

Key Stage 3 maths expands on primary school math fundamentals, introducing more complex concepts like algebra, geometry, statistics, and probability to students.

GCSE

GCSE Maths, mandatory for many, encompasses various mathematical fields like algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, and probability. Its goal is to enhance students' mathematical understanding, problem-solving abilities, and application of math in real-world contexts.


A-Level/Further Maths

A-Level Mathematics extends GCSE concepts, exploring calculus, algebra, trigonometry, and statistics to deepen mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills. Further Mathematics is an additional A-Level for students passionate about math, offering advanced study in diverse mathematical areas.

Qualified Maths Teacher

  • PGCE in Mathematics Teaching

  • 2:1 Honours Degree in Mathematics (Bsc)

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • 10+ years teaching and tuition key stage 3 including and up to further maths A level.

  • Qualified Exam Marker (Pearson Edexcel)

  • A grade in A level mathematics

Tuition all takes place online via microsoft teams/zoom.

  • Weekly/Fortnightly tuition recommended

  • All tutors are fully DBS Certificated and insured

  • Tuition can be 1-2-1 or in small groups (max 6)- Tailored to tutees ability level
